A career in software development was chosen to engage in the enjoyment of solving challenges and witnessing the utilization of created products. Over a span exceeding 15 years, numerous projects have been developed from inception to final service, and extensive professional instruction has been provided. Recent career focus has been on specializing in refactoring legacy code and transitioning to microservices, employing PHP, Laravel, and MariaDB, alongside the application of API RestFull principles and adherence to S.O.L.I.D. principles. The work adheres to Susan J. Fowler's suggested eight principles.
Project management is conducted through code versioning with GIT and the agile Scrum methodology, incorporating sprint and ticket management via the Jira tool. Comprehensive knowledge of PHP's evolution supports the ability to navigate new languages or frameworks, ensuring solutions are identified with the most efficient tools available. Personal projects are undertaken in Node.js and React to achieve proficiency in these technologies. Belief in focus, proactivity, organization, and teamwork underscores the philosophy that a developer should be a value-adding element to the final product, rather than merely a procedural tool.
