Graduated in Computer Science from the University of São Paulo (USP) with a comprehensive background in game development and user interface (UI/UX) design. Initially, participation in the Fellowship of the Game group at USP led to a burgeoning interest in game and app development, focusing on interface design and user experience. This interest spurred further study and refinement in design methodologies, resulting in the development of numerous game prototypes and active participation in various game jams. Acquired skills encompass design thinking, persona creation, usability testing, wireframing, high-fidelity prototyping, and navigation flows.
Formerly served as a UI/UX designer for educational children's games, with responsibilities that included creating web and mobile interfaces with a strong emphasis on usability. Also led the art team and acted as a UX specialist on a senior training app project, gaining substantial experience in large project development processes and accessibility.
Co-founded a game development company post-graduation, aiming to enhance the game development ecosystem in São Paulo's countryside while bridging university knowledge with industry practice. The venture successfully published its first game titled ConnecTiles.
Additionally, extensive engagement with the gaming community through organizing computing events and supporting SIGGRAPH conferences, facilitating gaming-related events, and participating in various projects, including Campus Mobile and BIG Festival. Achieved a notable win at Brasil Game Jam during BGS with the project Pescando Sonhos. Additionally, participated in voluntary activities for the TETO Brazil emergency housing project, demonstrating a strong commitment to networking and community involvement within the gaming field.
