Howdy's Medellín office is housed in a building made from refurbished shipping containers, surrounded by tropical plants. The space is designed with sustainability in mind and runs on solar power and rainwater systems. The Medellín Howdy House is located in El Poblado, one of the city's liveliest, most popular neighborhoods. El Poblado is home to the city's best bars, with Zona Rosa — a central area for dining and nightlife — a short walk away. The office features modern workstations, private booths, meeting rooms, a shared kitchen, and communal areas.

About Medellín

Medellín often gets described as a phoenix rising from the ashes. As far as cliches go, it's on point: Dubbed the murder capital of the world in the '80s, the city has shaken off its wartorn past and made a remarkable transformation in the last two decades. Innovative city planning, urban projects, and policy changes have turned the once-troubled city into a modern, progressive metropolis. Today, Medellín draws floods of travelers with unparalleled coffee, explosive nightlife, incredible Andes Mountains vistas, and friendly locals (known as paisas). The city has a famously pleasant climate that seldom exceeds the low-80s during the day or the low-60s at night, earning the nickname Ciudad de la Eterna Primavera (the City of Eternal Spring).
