In the vibrant capital of Argentina, Howdy’s largest international team collaborates and connects. Bienvenidos a Buenos Aires!
The Howdy House in Buenos Aires (BA) hosts nearly a hundred talented individuals from all walks of the tech industry. Employing a hybrid model at the house permits flexible work schedules, with many Howdy team members coming into the office some days of the week and remoting in for the remainder. The office is located in downtown BA, and gets plenty of natural light through its floor-to-ceiling windows in addition to being a very short walk to many restaurants, markets, and cultural landmarks.
The team consists of a highly educated and multinational collective of IT specialists, HR generalists, software engineers, product managers, UX/UI designers, and so much more. Workspaces have room for dozens of team members to go about their days, and four spacious glass conference rooms are available for team syncs and international video meetings.
The pleasant climate of Buenos Aires lives up to its name, as the breezy and temperate city rarely gets too hot or too cold for sitting outside with a laptop and cup of the local caffeinated drink of choice, mate. The open courtyard area provides plenty of space for specialists taking calls or engineers needing to stretch their legs while they wait for their code to compile.
The BA house has been in operation since 2020, but it was officially made an Argentinian workspace after hosting the first company meal. Nothing brings people together like asado (the LatAm equivalent of a barbecue), and Howdy hosts regular lunches at the house, providing team members with the chance to connect and socialize over a delicious meal several times a month.
Quite a few of the team members are talented musicians, so it’s a common occurrence to hear after-hours melodies from a handful of stringed instrument players and singers belting out the classics.
Want to see for yourself how talented our Argentinian contingent is? Join Howdy founders Jacqueline & Frank on their next trip to LatAm to meet with the team and take in the cultural, culinary, and historical experiences in Buenos Aires.
